Five Oceans Ltd reserves the right to update, alter, or modify this Delivery and Returns Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
PART 1: DELIVERY POLICY
1. Delivery Timeframes & Scheduling We aim to provide the most efficient logistics support in Cyprus. However, to manage operational capacity safely, all deliveries are subject to the following schedules:
- Standard Target: We actively try to dispatch standard, in-stock orders within 48 hours.
- Normal Delivery Window (Small/B2C Orders): Our standard delivery timeframe for small orders across Cyprus is between 3 to 7 business days.
- Bulk & B2B Orders: Large volume or commercial shipments require logistical planning. Bulk orders are subject to inventory confirmation first. Upon confirmation, our team will provide you with a custom, dedicated timeframe for your shipment.
2. Warehouse Pickup Customers may bypass delivery times by utilizing our Warehouse Pickup option.
- Location: Anexartisias 9, Ypsonas 4180 Limassol, Cyprus.
- Procedure: Pickups must be scheduled or confirmed online/by phone prior to arrival to ensure our forklift operators have your exact stock prepped and ready for loading.
3. Delivery Access & Unloading Liability
- Safe Access: It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that the delivery location is safely accessible by commercial freight vehicles. If a delivery fails due to inaccessible roads, locked gates, or unsafe conditions, the Customer will be liable for redelivery fees.
- Unloading: Unless specifically agreed upon in writing, unloading the pallets from our delivery vehicle is the responsibility of the Customer. Five Oceans Ltd accepts zero liability for any personal injury, property damage, or product damage that occurs during the unloading process at the destination site.
4. Delays & Force Majeure While we strive to meet all stated timeframes, delivery dates are estimates and not legally binding guarantees. Five Oceans Ltd shall not be held liable for any financial losses, supply chain disruptions, or penalties incurred by the Customer due to transit delays caused by high operational volumes, severe weather, mechanical failures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
PART 2: RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
To ensure fair practice and comply with Cyprus and EU regulations, our returns policy strictly differentiates between Commercial (B2B) and Consumer (B2C) purchases.
1. Commercial (B2B) Purchases
- All Sales Are Final: Due to the logistical costs of moving industrial freight, all B2B and bulk commercial orders are considered final upon dispatch. We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse or over-ordering.
- Defective or Incorrect Goods: If a commercial order arrives with structural defects or deviates materially from the invoice specifications, the Customer must notify us in writing (with photographic evidence) within 48 hours of delivery. Upon verification, Five Oceans Ltd will, at its sole discretion, replace the defective goods or issue a partial/full credit.
2. Consumer (B2C) Purchases (EU Right of Withdrawal)
- 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: Private individuals (non-commercial buyers) have the right to cancel and return standard, unused items within 14 days of receiving them, no questions asked.
- Return Freight Costs: The Customer is 100% responsible for all shipping and handling costs associated with returning the physical goods to our Limassol warehouse. Due to the heavy nature of these items, return freight can be substantial.
- Condition of Goods: Returned goods must be in their original, unused condition. We reserve the right to deduct from the refund amount if the value of the goods has been diminished by handling or outdoor exposure.
3. Used Pallet Disclaimer (DIY & Garden Grade) Used wooden pallets are sold explicitly as second-hand industrial items. Variations in wood color, weathering, minor chips, stamps, and superficial cracking are standard and do not constitute a “defect.” Returns will not be accepted for aesthetic reasons on used items.
4. Free Recycling Service Conditions While Five Oceans Ltd offers a free collection service for unwanted pallets for recycling purposes, this is a courtesy service, not a contractual obligation. We reserve the right to refuse the collection of pallets that are contaminated with hazardous chemicals, toxic waste, or excessive rot that renders them unrecyclable.
